My experience with computers started before computers became available to the general public.  We used calculators our fingers, toes, pencil and paper to cipher numbers.

     I took all the math classes I could in high school, except calculus I did not go there, it made no sense to me.  But I loved algebra and geometry, and they both helped me become a drafter and designer later in my career growth.
     Today I use a simple Excel Spreadsheet to develop my family budgets.  Every year I study last year's spending and develop a yearly budget for both my wife and my spending.
  AND WE STICK TO IT RELIGIOUSLY!!  IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, DON'T SPEND IT!!

     I also use excel in my corporate career.  In fact, I have run a company's production schedule using Excel Programs that I developed myself.  
     I am experienced in multilayer If-Then-Else formulas using VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP formulas.  I also use conditional formatting to aid in visual analysis of the spreadsheets.
